One of our best sellers, this generic Viking helmet is suitable for the portrayal of elite Viking warriors and Chieftains. It is also one of the most protective helmets that we stock.
This is another impressive piece of kit with a 'spectacle' guard to protect the eyes and upper face along with a nasal bar to protect the nose. In addition to this it also has a butted spring steel maille 'camail' to protect the lower half of the head and the neck.
It can be made with either a 64cm or 68cm forehead circumference and is made in either 1.6mm, 2mm or 2.4 mm steel with overlaps in many areas to effectively double the protection. It can be made in a thinner gauge if required.
It is available in either a plain polished steel finish or blackened to protect it against rust.
A leather liner is provided and this can be adjusted so the helmet can comfortably fit most head shapes.
A padded arming cap should be worn with this helmet
