Ideal for the blackpowder enthusiast, this is a fine reproduction of a generic gun powder horn that is suitable as a functional or decorative accessory for any period from the 1600's up until almost the modern day.
It is made from a domestic cow horn and comes with a brass screw-on stopper along with leather carrying strap. The horn is approximately 30 cm to 35 cm in length.
While these are functional, the horn needs to be filled through the small opening at the end (about 5mm or 6mm round hole) so take care while doing this. However, this is how the original powder horns were also filled.
